I could tell that I am finally settling in here in my new home in South Carolina when, for the first time in 5 weeks, I COOKED SOMETHING!!!
I’m not sure what the hell I’ve been doing- oh yeah, salads- but I finally felt inspired to break out a pot and cook some lentils.
Funny how that signifies ‘Home’ to me, and I could tell I was coming back to home and well-being by soaking the lentils, cooking them, and now eating them.
