PS- Monday was a train wreck for me..
I felt so discouraged- we are doing everything we know to get my message out to more and more people. And it just didn’t seem like it was doing much, so I got down.
It was pretty major. I was able to be “on” for my clients and my livestream (I always light up when I see you on my lives- makes my DAY!!)
I did what I knew to do and didn’t take it too seriously. I just went about doing what I knew to do.
My personal trainer came over and worked me so hard that I’m still a little sore after 2 days.
I had 2 live client calls and it always helps to take the attention off of myself.
I pretty much just did my normal self-care routines and things I needed to do.
But I know in my heart that I was saying silent prayers that my team’s and my efforts would be blessed and touched to reach everyone needing to hear our message.
I went to bed early (key for me) with the above prayer on my heart.
When it’s like this, I remember my mother’s wise words, “Tomorrow will be a better day.”
Sure enough, it was.
I got on Zoom with Wilma, my wonderful Project Manager, and as she shared all the amazing things that she’s doing to get our message spread wide. I got fresh inspiration. I could feel it welling up inside of me. I felt excited again and sooo thankful for my beautiful team who puts their hearts and souls into sharing my videos, quotes, writing to the entire world because they believe in what I am doing and they care.
Then Ar and Sol got on the Zoom call (with their baby, Matteo) and told me about what they’re doing. Ar created our new Facebook group while we were on the call and launched it. Right away, 10 people swarmed the group and joined. Soo encouraging. (Be sure to join now here for added fuel to keep your energy high and clear. The group’s called Anxiety and Depression HACKS.)
My whole world turned around, and I know that this is the way it goes. And everyone feels this way at times as I did Monday.
I know enough by now after a lifetime of feeling bad most days, to barely having any down days, that it will pass. This is what I did…
1-I didn’t take it personally.
2-I didn’t make it mean anything.
3-I didn’t make decisions about myself- or ANY decisions, for that matter.
When you’re down or in a low mood, it is not the time to make ANY decisions.
And this morning I was reminded about that saying: It’s darkest before the dawn.
I hope that it’s helpful when I share my stories with you- I want you to know that you’re not alone. If I can feel better, you can, too.
